Sodium Dental Support Contract

The Sodium Dental Support Contract provides your office with stress free remote and onsite support 8:30AM to 5:00PM(EST) Monday through Friday excluding holidays. By simply calling our office at 800.821.8962 you can reach our support professionals who will remote into your computer systems and provide prompt solutions to any and all software and hardware issues you may be having on your network.

Support contract does not cover the cost of replacement parts if needed to fix a problem you are having with your systems if your systems have a hardware warranty then we of course will work with the manufacturer to get the hardware replaced or repaired under warranty.

We will make sure that your systems have anti-virus software and that it is running on a nightly schedule.

We will schedule your computers for windows updates to make sure your systems have the current security updates.

We will install new software updates for any software you have installed on your systems as they are made available by the manufacturers of the software.

What is not covered?
-Installation of New Hardware such as new computer systems or printers (These are billed at a special hourly rate of $60 per half hour)
-Hardware components in cases where they are needed to repair systems
-Equipment not listed on your support contract

How we support your office
When your office calls our support line we will transfer you to a support professional who will ask you what issues you are having and then remote into the system in question. They will diagnose and solve the issue remotely then provide a job report to your email on record of what the issue and solution were.

We will come on site to your office when an onsite visit only when it will result in a faster and superior support experience as determined by our support team. Travel fee for onsite visit will be required at $1.25 per mile. For instance if your server has failed and cannot be booted with minor assistance by a staff member then we will immediately send a staff member on site. We will always pursue the best response time.

Explanation of Add On Services
Backup Monitoring:
Our Backup Monitoring Solution means that our staff will be getting a log every time your system backs up and they will read through the log to confirm that the backup is operating properly. Monthly our staff will remote into the system doing the backup solution and do a manual backup of the files and confirm that the number and size of files that are to be backed up are what are found on the backup.

24/7/365 Anytime and All the Time Support Availability:
This is a support add on that gives you a special after hours support phone number to call where we will have IT support available 24 hours a day and on weekends because sometimes things do not wait for the week to break.

Extended Hours Support Availability 5AM to 9PM Weekdays:
This is a support add on that gives you a special after hours support phone number to call where we will have IT support available for extended morning and evening hours.

Loaner Server Availability:
We will keep a server machine in our office that we will drive to your location in the case that your server has gone through a hardware failure. If your server has failed it could often take between 2 days to get replacement parts or up to 5 weeks to get a brand new system. Our loaner server will serve as a buffer for that time delay and we can have it on site with a support professional to install it within 4 hour of discovering it will be necessary. Loaners can be kept for up to 60 days

Loaner Printer Availability:
We will keep a printer available in our office that we will drive to your location in the case that your printer has gone through a hardware failure. If your printer has failed it could often take between 2 days to get replacement parts or up to 3 weeks to get a brand new system. Our loaner printer will serve as a buffer for that time delay and we can have it on site with a support professional to install it within 4 hour of discovering it will be necessary. Loaners can be kept for up to 60 days

Loaner Sensor Availability:
We will keep a digital xray sensor that will work in your imaging software available in our office that we will drive to your location in the case that your sensor has gone through a hardware failure. We may not have the exact model of sensor available that you have but we will have a sensor that will work in your software and provide digital xrays until you can have your sensor repaired or replaced. Loaners can be kept for up to 60 days
