Shipping Policy

At Sodium Dental, we strive to provide reliable repair and return shipping services for your dental equipment. Please review the following terms carefully, as they govern all return shipments of repaired or serviced equipment.

Shipping and Risk of Loss

  • All return shipments of repaired or serviced equipment are made at Customer’s sole risk.
  • Title to the equipment and risk of loss or damage passes to Customer upon delivery of the item to the common carrier (e.g., FedEx, UPS, or USPS) at our facility (FOB Shipping Point).
  • We are not liable for any loss, damage, delay, or non-delivery occurring during transit, regardless of cause.
  • Shipping insurance (higher declared value coverage) is optional and available at Customer’s request and expense. If Customer elects insurance, we will declare the value specified by Customer and purchase coverage accordingly. In the event of a loss or damage claim, our sole obligation—and Customer’s exclusive remedy—shall be to assist in filing a claim with the carrier, and any recovery received from the carrier will be passed through to Customer (less any applicable deductibles, administrative fees, or shipping costs we incurred).
  • If Customer declines insurance, shipments will be made with the carrier’s default limited liability (typically $100 per package), and our liability, if any, shall not exceed the amount recoverable from the carrier.
  • We strongly recommend that Customer elect insurance for high-value items or arrange independent coverage. Customer may alternatively provide a prepaid return shipping label using their own carrier account, in which case risk remains with Customer.
  • In no event shall we be liable for consequential, indirect, or special damages, including but not limited to lost profits, practice downtime, or replacement costs exceeding carrier recovery.

General Limitation of Liability

Our total liability for any claim related to repair services or shipping shall not exceed the amount paid by Customer for the specific repair service involved.

These terms are incorporated into all repair orders and invoices. By submitting equipment for repair or authorizing services, you acknowledge and agree to these Shipping and Risk of Loss provisions.

If you have questions about shipping options or insurance, please contact us prior to submitting your repair order.
