How To Install Apteryx XrayVision

Installing Apteryx Imaging is a fairly easy process when you are already familiar with how to install any program into Windows. We’ve created this series of videos to provide you assistance in installing Apteryx Imaging to your data server and practice workstations. Installing Apteryx Imaging & Basic Configuration:

* When installing Apteryx Imaging it is important that you follow the steps below in sequential order to ensure a proper installation of Apteryx Imaging.
  1. Installing Apteryx XrayVision onto your data server
  2. Sharing the Apteryx XrayVision folder and Mapping that folder after installing Apteryx Imaging
  3. Adding Apteryx XrayVision to your practice workstations
  4. Adding Name Grabber to each one of your practice workstations
  5. Initial option selections to be chosen after installing Apteryx Imaging

Customizing the Apteryx Imaging software:

* These steps do not need to be performed in any certain order however it is required that you complete the 5 steps above in order to move on to the following steps.
  1. Customizing the Apteryx Imaging toolbar
  2. Making a custom layout or template to be used with the Kodak & Carestream dental x-ray sensor

Integrating dental x-ray sensors into the Apteryx Imaging software:
