The Sodium Sensor Protector is the newest innovation from the Sodium Dental Product Development Team. Accidental bites are the leading cause of sensor failure in veterinary clinics. These food-safe silicone covers are engineered to absorb the everyday wear and tear that destroys unprotected sensors—without adding unnecessary bulk.

While no cover can withstand a full-force bite, the Sodium Sensor Protector significantly reduces the routine damage that shortens sensor life. We carefully balanced protection with thickness so the cover remains thin enough that it does not require higher radiation exposure for dental radiographs.

What’s included:
Each purchase contains two protectors sized for Sodium Dental size 2 sensors. The design also fits several other common veterinary and dental sensors. Contact our sales team for fit confirmation on your specific model.
Material & sterilization
Made from high-grade, food-safe silicone rubber rated to 210 °C, the protectors are fully autoclave-safe and can withstand repeated sterilization cycles.
Recommended use
Always place a barrier sheath between the sensor and the protector. The snug fit is intentional—it keeps the protector secure and unobtrusive during use while making removal cleaner and easier when a barrier is used.
