The Ceramix Nano produces clinically excellent restorations with standard curing alone — full mechanical strength, FDA-cleared permanent resin, insurance reimbursable. For most posterior cases, that’s all you need.
The Aesthetic Curing Kit is for practices that want to go further. When you’re finishing an anterior crown or veneer and you want a premium, lifelike surface that rivals pressed ceramic, gas curing is where you get there.
The Simple Rule
Regular cure → Strength. Gas cure → Aesthetics.
Standard curing in the Ceramix Nano brings Lumicera resin to its full mechanical strength — 200 MPa, 10 million chewing cycles at 800 N. The Aesthetic Kit adds a second finishing step after stain and glaze application, pumping N2 or CO2 into a sealed curing chamber for approximately 30 seconds of oxygen-free curing. The result is a flawless, high-gloss surface finish that elevates the final restoration to premium cosmetic quality.
How It Works — 4 Steps
- Regular curing for strength — standard curing cycle in the Ceramix Nano, no gas needed
- Stain / Glaze as needed — apply stain and glaze to the restoration surface
- Pump N2/CO2 into the sealed curing chamber — attach the Aesthetic Kit and introduce gas
- Oxygen-free curing for ~30 seconds — locks in the surface finish for premium, lifelike results
Cartridge Compatibility & Running Cost
The Aesthetic Kit is compatible with standard N2 or CO2 mini cartridges with a 3/8″-24 UNF thread — the same type widely available on Amazon and other online marketplaces.
