If you do not have your original Dexis Classic calibration file disc click here

If you would like assistance installing your x-ray sensors calibration file onto a new workstation in your office please take advantage of our Calibration Installation Package here.

Since the raw image from a Dexis Classic sensor is actually rather poor it is very important that you have the original Dexis Classic calibration file installed which you would have received with your initial purchase.  Also, Dexis has programmed the Dexis Imaging Suite to actually not allow a Dexis Classic dental x-ray sensor to function at all if the correct calibration file is not installed.  This is more than likely due to the fact that the raw Dexis Classic x-ray image is very poor and needs significant correction when the image is processed in the Dexis Imaging Suite.

First it is important to know what you are looking for. Dexis Classic calibration files are named as follows:

  • 012345678_dark.flf
  • 012345678_dfm.dfm
  • 012345678_flat.flf
**Note: 012345678 in the file names above will reflect the serial number of your sensor.  If you have multiple Dexis Classic sensors in your office be sure that the file names you are sending to Sodium Dental have the correct serial number in the file name.  The serial number should match the sensor that you have in for your Dexis Classic sensor repair.

The three file names above are what we are looking for and are what Sodium Dental x-ray repair technicians need in order to properly test your Dexis Classic x-ray sensor repair.
