What Dental Offices Say About Our Repairs

Loaner Equipment

Keep your schedule moving with our loaner sensors and equipment while your device is being repaired. Our technical support team can assist with installation or troubleshooting, and if you need a long-term solution, we offer reliable, fully serviced pre-owned x-ray sensors.

How Dental Sensor Repair Works

Close to one of our offices? You can also drop it off in person in Ann Arbor, MI or Hanover, PA.

What a Sensor Repair Costs

With new sensors costing $8,000 or more, our sensor repairs cost a fraction of a brand new sensor. You’ll know your exact number before we touch anything, because the estimate comes first and the evaluation is free.

Every repair comes with our 30 day repair warranty. Repaired Dexis Platinum, Dexis Titanium and Gendex GXS-700 sensors get 30 days of our full Protection Plan instead, which covers accidental damage and equipment failure.

Before any sensor leaves, we check the cable, the housing seal and the fit in a RINN holder, then take a full FMX to make sure it doesn’t pre-trigger and passes an electrical grounding test. The printed FMX goes back in the box with your sensor.

If Your Device Isn’t Listed, We Can Likely Still Repair It

Not just sensors, either. We also repair intraoral scanners, intraoral cameras, handheld tubeheads, sensor interfaces and almost anything else your office can put in a box that’s worth fixing.

If you’re unsure whether your device is repairable, submit the form at the top of this page. We evaluate all equipment for free.

Why Offices Send Us Sensors Other Shops Couldn’t Fix

Sure, there are other places to send a sensor for evaluation. We see a lot of those sensors here after the first repair didn’t hold, or after it sat on someone’s bench for weeks. Every sensor we fix goes through the same final test before it leaves, and our logistics team follows up after delivery to make sure it’s working.

Some manufacturers won’t touch older sensors anymore. Dentsply Sirona stopped servicing the Schick CDR line in 2018, for example. We still fix them.
